Glove Size

To find out your glove size, you should measure your dominant hand, the right if you are right-handed,
and the left if you are left-handed

1) Measure around the hand at the fullest part (exclude thumb)
2) Measure from the base of palm to the tip of the middle finger
3) Use the largest of these two measurements for the size of the glove
4) Note the measurement and compare it to the chart below

Backing Fabric

The following materials are frequently used for knitted gloves

Yarn Characteristic
Nylon(Polyamide) Originally a synthetic substitute for silk. Nylon is permeable to air, elastic and durable.
HPPE(High Performance Polyethylene) Highly resistant to abrasion, moisture, cut and chemicals.
Cotton Made from plant fibres and extremely skin-friendly.
Cotton is pleasant and soft to wear and can absorb sweat very effectively.
Kevlar Brand name from DuPont fro fibres made from aromatic polyamides.
Used in cut-proof and heat-proof gloves. Low resistance to UV.
Spandex (Lycra, Elastane) Synthetic Fibre with excellent stability and durability.
Gloves maintain their shape, are lightweight and stay resilient.

The type of knit is defined by the gauge number. The gauge is the number of stitches per inch(2.54cm)

Coating Material

Textile gloves are stretched over moulds and dipped in Latex, Nitrile or Polyurethane baths.
The glove's properties are largely determined by the quality of the coating.

Coating Characteristic
Latex Natural rubber, offering excellent grip and anti-slip properties, and is very elastic between around -20℃ and 150℃. Not resistant to oils and grease.
Nitrile(NBR) Synthetic material, almost as elastic as latex, but more resistant and presents no risk of allergies. Temperature range from -4℃ to 150℃.
PU(Polyurethane) Synthetic material that can be soft and elastic, depending on its blend, and offers excellent resistance to tearing.
